Bezafibrate Description


Bezafibrate is an agonist of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPARalpha) with antilipidemic activity. Bezafibrate decreases triglyceride levels, increases top body lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol levels, and decreases absolute and low body lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels.
