Description:
Rotenone is a mitochondrial electron carriage inhibitor, which accurately inhibits NAD-linked substrate blaze of NADH dehydrogenase with an EC50=10 pmol/mg. It is accepted that this arrest of the electron carriage alternation occurs from circuitous I to ubiquinone, analogously to amytal. Studies announce that Rotenone inhibits beastly corpuscle proliferation, via suppressing microtubule accumulation by bounden to tubulin. Rotenone can arrest the furnishings of N-methyl-4-phenylpyridinium on mitochondrial abscess and cytochrome c release. Rotenone is an inhibitor of NDUFS.
